Library is the backbone of academic excellence and widens the horizons of every pupil-teacher. Our library is well stacked and is computerized online. It subscribes to the best of national magazines & educational journals, besides providing rich and varied resources in different streams of teacher-education programmes. To cater to the various needs of different pupil-teachers, we have 4 types of library memberships. Ordinary Membership is available to every student. Besides the ordinary membership, we have Silver Gold, Gold Card and Diamond Card. Details can be obtained from Librarian. E-Resources, book bank, internet, photocopying, extended library hours and air-cooled reading room are our strengths.
The number of books available with us is 8416 (reference books, text books, literary books, General books, NCERT, etc.). We regularly subscribe 10 journals of NCTE and NCERT and Others which caters to the need of the students, research scholars and the faculty, whereas 06 newspapers in English and Hindi languages are daily available in the library to enrich the students and staff with current news at the Regional, National and International levels. On the whole, Book bank facility has also been establishment for the benefit of the weaker students who can avail all the text books.
